Signed to Shine: Rapsody
Rapsody is perfecting her craft in order to put the Female MC back into the spotlight. Signed to JAMLA Records, the label constructed by Grammy Producer 9th Wonder, Rapsody is bringing back that old school feel with her B-girl style. Getting her start on North Carolina State's campus, she joined the group Kooley High and released Summer Sessions EP. Then gained the national spotlight, taking part in 9th Wonder's, The Wonder Years. Still working with Kooley High, she helped them release Kooley Is High the Mix-Tape. With her poetic delivery, Rapsody is in a lane by herself, hoping to be a role model for young girls. A prototype missing in the category of Female MC.
